If you are interesting in understanding the next evolution in the viral media space on the Internet, then look no further than Viralstreet.com! It is a community based fun site for members and viewers, and will generate both value for companies and earn members cash prizes from making viral films that those companies require for their viral marketing campaigns.
Viralstreet has a highly appealing business model. It is a platform that brings companies requiring commercial viral media campaigns to a user base of creative geniuses with a camcorder! It is also simple for members to understand and participate in whilst focusing on both leveraging the immense talent pool that constitutes today’s Internet user base and the growing wave of user generated material. Additionally, Viralstreet has taken the ‘old economy’ operating model that exists between companies and their advertising agencies and has adapted it to the web.
Commercial Viral Media (CVM) is viral content that is user generated but with the twist that it possesses a commercial dimension.
If a company likes the film then they can easily purchase the rights and modify the film with their brand logo and adding famous music if required. Then the Company can launch the film as a viral and easily track its performance. The film makers receive money every time a company buys one of their films, to begin with Viralstreet is not charging anything for this service, all monies pass to the film maker.
Co-founder Edward Fitzpatrick said “What makes it work is the win-win-win scenario; members are happy to earn a large slice of the income generated from making films that get purchased, clients are delighted because this is a low risk and controlled way to make viral media work for them, without just slapping their brand on the back end of some disconnected viral content, and obviously Viralstreet wins because as our platform grows so the quality of the films grow, and so continues the virtuous cycle. Before long we will be the largest creative agency on the planet!” Jonathan Rea, fellow co-founder also mentioned “It’s incredible that nobody is doing this already, it’s the obvious next evolution for viral media and we’re delighted to be bang right in the middle of that wave. We see that companies are actually using Viralstreet to experiment with viral media and so far they are delighted with the results”.
